Dr. Christianson opened Christianson Chiropractic at the current location in Cedar Rapids, IAover 20 years ago, with the intention of treating patients in a straightforward approach with the end goal being to help them function and live a healthier life.
In our office, we can perform on-site therapy, interferential therapy and chiropractic adjustments for patients of any age, from newborns to the young at heart. We firmly believe in the power of adjustments to promote natural healing. When you visit our office we will not only perform chiropractic adjustments but will also explain the benefits of routine chiropractic visits at any age.
Christianson Chiropractic believes in a hands-on approach with our primary focus being chiropractic adjustments, this is why Dr. Christianson is such a great adjuster. Many of our patients see fast results after just a single appointment with him. After all, we don’t want you to be in pain, we want to relieve you of your pain as quickly as possible.

Since we treat patients from newborns to geriatrics, we don’t use the same treatment with every patient. Each patient will have different pressure applied when undergoing an adjustment based on their age and body type.
Meet the Doctor
Dr. William Christianson has been influenced by chiropractic care and natural healing from a young age. His uncle was a chiropractor, and his dad believed in natural healing, so it has always appealed to Dr. Christianson.
One interaction that sticks with Dr. Christianson happened when he was In high school. Dr. Christianson hurt his back and had to see a chiropractor. The two had a great connection because the chiropractor took the necessary time to understand what was going on, was knowledgeable about the subject and, in the end, Dr. Christianson saw great results from his visits!
Dr. Christianson firmly believes your profession chooses you, you don’t choose your profession. He remembers always feeling that chiropractic was what he was meant to do, and it has become his passion. In fact, he is more excited about his career in chiropractic today than he was when he first opened his practice over 23 years ago.
A 1994 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, Dr. Christianson opened Christianson Chiropractic in Cedar Rapids, IA in January 1995 and has never left! Dr. Christianson is happy to go to work because he loves what he does! He doesn’t view it as work, therefore doesn’t mind going into the office to help relieve his patients from the pain they are experiencing.
Dr. Christianson is passionate about spending, time with family and friends, vacationing, sports, athletics and health in general. He likes to stay healthy and be healthy and wants that for his patients as well. He wants them to be able to function better and be in better health to be able to live their life to the fullest and do everything they love to do like he can. Dr. Christianson feels the biggest reward from being a chiropractor is doing his job and seeing the results each patient gets.
Dr. Christianson treats newborns to the young at heart. He brings 20 years of experience in serving the Greater Cedar Rapids area and is the official Chiropractor of the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders Hockey team.
